HTML Editing ~ Exercise 1

Your assignment is to demonstrate how to use an Internet Search Engine effectively by:
  • use the search engine of your choice
  • search for the topic of your choice
  • get 10 hits or less
  • capture what is displayed on the screen
  • paste it into Word
  • type your name on the document
  • print the project out
  • hand it in.

  • do your own search with the Search Engine of your choice - Search Engines link on Sjs Home page

  • use at least two words in your search
  • your search must get no more than 10 hits, results, or matches.

Now comes the tricky part
  • capture what is displayed on the screen by pressing <Print Screen>.

  • open Word and Paste (from Edit menu) what you captured onto the page.

  • type your name and block on the page.
  • save your document to H:
  • copy and paste the document to the Handin folder.
